This is a pivotal role within the business, being responsible for the provision of high-quality financial and administrative support to the Head of Finance.
This is a transactional accounts role, carrying out Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, administrative responsibilities, and ad hoc project support as they arise.

A summary of the duties are as follows:

- Accounts payable - processing and management.
- Accounts receivable - processing and management.
- Perform monthly bank and other general ledger journal entries and reconciliations.
- Process petty cash and café cash, including reconciliations and reimbursements.
- Manage the HMRI parking facility payments and parking list in conjunction with Security and FM.
- Accounting for fundraising income including the allocation of specified donations.
- Participate in ad hoc Finance projects as required.

**About You**
Not only will you be an integral part of the team, but you'll also possess the following skillsets and experience:

- A strong understanding of administrative processes as they relate to the finance activities of business, including AR/AP, account reconciliations, banking and financial management of fixed assets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-starter, willing to use own initiative.
- Ability to liaise in a confident and friendly manner with a range of people from a variety of ages backgrounds and levels of the organisation
