  • February 14, :15Our client has a rare opening for a Finance Officer to join their Finance team for a 12-month opportunity


This is a pivotal role within the business, being responsible for the provision of high-quality financial and administrative support to the Head of Finance.

This is a transactional accounts role, carrying out Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, administrative responsibilities, and ad hoc project support as they arise.


A summary of the duties are as follows:

  • Accounts payable
  • processing and management.


 Accounts receivableprocessing and management. Perform monthly bank and other general ledger journal entries and reconciliations. Process petty cash and café cash, including reconciliations and reimbursements. Manage the HMRI parking facility payments and parking list in conjunction with Security and FM. Accounting for fundraising income including the allocation of specified donations. Participate in ad hoc Finance projects as required.
About You
Not only will you be an integral part of the team, but you'll also possess the following skillsets and experience:

  • A strong understanding of administrative processes as they relate to the finance activities of business, including AR/AP, account reconciliations, banking and financial management of fixed assets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a deadlinedriven environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Selfstarter, willing to use own initiative.
  • Ability to liaise in a confident and friendly manner with a range of people from a variety of ages backgrounds and levels of the organisation
