What you'll be doing
Provide administration support to the People and Culture team and facilitate first line support to the department across the full range of HR functions.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your contribution will include:
- Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to HR queries, maintaining accurate employee records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Act and respond to all queries that are sent to the HR inbox in a timely manner.
- Manage employee paperwork including contract creation, separations, probation, change of roles and any changes to employee terms.
- Manage user access to all HR owned systems, such as Workplace, LMS.
- Maintaining and strengthening the employment relations as the first point of contact for queries or issues.
- Maintain, update, and support the creation of all People policies, processes and communications
- Assist in the preparation of annual government reporting such as WGEA
- Maintaining knowledge of industrial instruments
- Other general administrative duties as required
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar administration or HR administration role
- Ability to be agile and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrates the values of a good team player and can work autonomously
- Have high integrity, understanding confidentiality and discretion
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Have a broad understanding of the Fair Work Act (preferred but not required)
