**Event Co-ordinator - Port Melbourne**

This venue is a hidden gem in Port Melbourne, operating as a charming cafe during the day and transforming into a stunning event space in the evenings and weekends. With a capacity to accommodate up to 120 people, it hosts a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of events, including private parties, corporate functions, and more.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements, ensuring their vision becomes a reality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour with clientele.
- Effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are arranged according to client specifications.
- Manage a small team, delegating tasks and ensuring everyone works together harmoniously.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, from event planning to on-site execution.
- Be flexible with scheduling and available to work evenings and weekends.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event coordination or related roles.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated professionalism and discretion when handling client inquiries and confidential information.
- Hands-on approach, with the ability to effectively manage a small team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and event planning best practices is preferred.
- A passion for creating memorable experiences and exceeding client expectations.
