**Your Role**:
As an Electronic Warfare Operator, you’ll be responsible for disrupting electromagnetic signals in a range of different environments. Your ability to intercept and block enemy transmissions directly contributes to the success of Army missions.

You’ll be part of the Army’s advanced ICT team, the Signallers, a highly trained team whose role is to keep the Army connected and who, like you, are always looking forward. This means getting hands on with advanced, military-grade communications equipment you won’t find anywhere else.

With your high level of written and communication skills, you’ll learn to think on your feet in this fast-paced work environment. It’s a career that doesn’t stand still and where you’ll never stop learning with opportunities to take your skills to the next level by specialising in the areas of Signals Analysis, Electronic Attack, or Tactical Cyber Warfare.

**Location**:
Following your initial military training, you could be posted to a number of specialist signals units. The main first posting locations are Cabarlah QLD and Canberra ACT It’s not possible to guarantee a specific posting location for the duration of your service, therefore you must be willing to relocate.

**Salary**:
In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $54,815 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.

On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $81,452 per annum plus generous super.
