**Your Role**:
As an Intelligence Analyst, you will provide intelligence support that assist commanders in their decision-making process. Gaining advantage over an enemy by having superior intelligence has always played a critical role in successful military operations. You'll be responsible for acquiring, processing and analysing intelligence before effectively communicating it.

You’ll be trained to use cutting-edge technology to receive, process and analyse the strategic and operational data that enables your commanders to make well-informed operational decisions. The sources of this information will include operations, surveillance, electronic warfare, satellite imagery, and psychological operations.

This role calls for absolute discretion, sound judgement and exceptional attention to detail. You’ll have a natural ability to think logically and objectively, and the strength of character to work independently and with mínimal supervision, both at headquarters and in the field. In return for your honesty, integrity and commitment, you’ll enjoy a highly respected position at the very heart of operations.

**Location**:
Following your Initial Military Training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. It’s not possible to guarantee a specific posting location for the duration of your service, therefore you must be willing to relocate.

**Salary**:
In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $54,815 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.

On completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you could earn $81,452 per annum plus generous super.
