**The Opportunity**

The Group Manager, IT Commercial Services is responsible for leading a professional team to develop, implement, and manage sourcing strategies that deliver competitive IT solutions to the University and ensure organizational objectives are met.

You will directly support and provide expert advice to the eSolutions executive leadership team to identify and secure commercial contracts including directing the administration, governance and resourcing, and business planning functions.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Lead the design, development, implementation, and management of procurement sourcing strategies across the function as well as strategic processes that ensure the unit is adaptable to changing market conditions and new business opportunities
- Manage and lead a highly trained and motivated team (of nine people), including planning and allocating staff resources, developing and managing performance to deliver service outcomes, and identify key opportunities to drive commercial advantage
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate external commercial market conditions/trends to identify key opportunities to drive commercial advantage and implement changes to improve supply chain management.
