**The Opportunity**

Based at our Dandenong Head Office, the **Operational Systems Coordinator **is a key position in the Network Planning Department that contributes to keeping Melbourne moving.

This role is responsible for providing direct support to internal and external stakeholders regarding the business systems we use to provide a reliable and professional service which meets customer expectation and Ventura's contractual requirements. Three key focus areas of this role are:

- Hardware and Software integrity
- Technical support and relationship management with stakeholders
- Product development and innovation
- Maintain accurate information in in our software systems relating to bus routes
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to review and implements proposed route/stop information
- Work with schools to build custom routes and implement in our systems
- Lead projects for the development and implantation of new and existing technological and system initiatives as required
- Provide systems training to business members as required
- Management of technical support tickets submitted through software systems helpdesks

**About you**
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to confidently liaise with external and internal stakeholders
- Public Transport industry experience is highly regarded
- ITS experience is highly regarded
- Ability to work comfortably with software programs and technology systems - exposure to systems such as TIMS, Bus Minder, Moovit are highly advantageous but not completely necessary
- A lateral thinker with excellent time management skills

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Help desk: 1 year (preferred)
