ABOUT THE ROLE:

Provide leadership and support to all departments in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the business management system across all Volgren sites.   Proactively manage system elements to ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and applicable national and international quality system regulations such as ADR, ISO and safety systems based on the business direction and priorities.  Lead the development and implementation plans for certification audits in coordination with site management representatives. Prepare regular reports on and recommendations to improve the performance of the Business Systems, Internal Audits and improvement activities to meet business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain procedures related to the control of documents within the Business Management Guide (BMG).
  • Help Maintain safety systems in line with statutory requirements at all national sites.
  • Plan and coordinate internal BMS audit plans with site system coordinators, functional management & Management Representatives, ensuring consistency of approach between all locations yet tailored to the needs of the site.
  • Create and maintain a standard Management Review procedure for implementation at all Volgren locations.
  • Coordinate with external bodies and site Management representatives to schedule and conduct Periodic and normal surveillance audits.
  • Create , maintain and report on systems for other audits, rollout supporting systems for standardised audits through site Safety and Systems Co-ordinators
  • Leads development, deployment and continuous improvement of, has ownership for, Policy Level documents within the BMG.
  • Provide Project Management for key strategic and business development programs.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Systems function mapping
  • Project management.
  • Microsoft office suite.
  • ISO Accredited Auditor (or similar).
  • Experience in business systems in accordance with ISO methodology.
  • General familiarity with WHS, risk & compliance requirements.

EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE

  • Business systems or equivalent

This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test
