**Job Summary**

As the Manager, Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the Australia regulatory and APAC Head Office enhancement and deep-dive project addressing regulatory requirement compliance of the returns/ reports and establishing efficient reporting processes.

As the Manager, Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the Australia regulatory and APAC Head Office enhancement and deep-dive project addressing regulatory requirement compliance of the returns/ reports and establishing efficient reporting processes.

**What will you do?**
- Maintain and develop new/ enhance existing controls
- Collaborate with the COE to ensure timely and accurate financial accounts are delivered
- Collaborate with Business Partners to investigate NIE trends
- Internal/ Head Office reporting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations review and PEGA attestation
- Internal and external audit support
- Coordination and preparation of Finance and Tax Risk packs
- Supporting enhancement and deep-dive project on all Australia regulatory and APAC Head Office reports by partnering with project lead, analysing regulatory requirement compliance of the current reports and addressing the gap
- Recommending and implementing enhancements to existing reporting practices and processes, closing coding gaps and enhancing the code within regulatory reporting tools
- Deep dive on the returns
- Preparation of all supporting documentation, schedules and reconciliations required in the performance of the above-mentioned reports
- Responsibility for preparation of procedure manuals following the review and enhancement of the processes/ reports

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Qualified Accountant CA, CPA or Qualified by Experience
- Knowledge of APRA, ABS and ASX returns and related requirements
- Financial control experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Competent PC skills
- Sound accounting experience
- Accurate and methodical with ability to verify/proof numbers on reports
- Critical to be a good cultural fit for the team/ good interpersonal and team skills

**Nice-to-have**
- Highly developed PC skills - Microsoft programs
- Self motivated, with a professional attitude and presentation
- Good written communication skills, verbal reasoning and listening skills
