**About Us**

Each year the Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) and Children's Court of Victoria (ChCV) determine in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

The Court IT systems are outdated, some of which are 30 years old, and no longer meet service expectations or handle the growing community demand. The 2017/18 State Budget provided significant investment to Court Services Victoria including $89.2m for a modern case management system for the two courts, as part of the whole of government response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence.

The CMS Project aims to implement a contemporary CMS for MCV and ChCV that supports the ongoing growth of cases, is a one point of entry for all cases in these two courts, and streamlines data capture, business processes and the exchange of information both within the courts and with external parties.

**About the role**

Reporting to the PMO Lead, the HR Support Officer will play a key role in providing high level HR support to the CMS Project team. The role will manage multiple end-to-end recruitment processes simultaneously, including preparing position descriptions, creating job advertisements, shortlisting, conducting reference checks, scheduling interviews and other assessment methods, pre-employment checks and preparing letters of offer.

Additionally, the role will be supporting the whole project team with other ad hoc administrative duties as required.

**About you**
- Demonstrated experience working in a busy project administration/support role in a Project or Program Management Office
- Knowledge and experience of VPS and contractor recruitment processes within government is desired
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills with the ability build trust and rapport with a variety of stakeholders, including the project team.
- Ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously, while accurately tracking these and filing staff documentation appropriately
