**About the role**:
The EL1 Case Management Support is an important team leadership position within the Agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. You will be responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the Agency to advance the Agency’s interests across a range of forums.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Manage the workflow of case management support functions to ensure statutory timeframes and measures are met.
- Manage AAT Applications received by the Agency including the allocation to the case management teams and legal teams.
- Lead and contribute to strategic projects and policy development processes.
- Lead and contribute to the development of Ministerial and Parliamentary briefs and complaints.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, business cases, meeting submissions and correspondence.
- Lead a team and a scope of work, including mentoring, supervising, training and supporting Case Management Support staff.

**MANDATORY**
- Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
- Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one

- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work within and across teams, the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
