**Remuneration Range**: $1496.38 to $2012.90 per week PLUS superannuation and annual leave loading (salary is dependent on experience)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic administration leader to be part of our Executive Support team at Calvary Mater Newcastle as the Executive Assistant.

This key role provides high level administrative support to the General Manager, Director of Mission and Public Affairs and Communications team. The Executive Assistant ensures the smooth communication of information, and the operational day to day management of an Executive Support team to the highest level of effectiveness, efficiency and professionalism.

The role will require support relevant committees and meetings as required by the General Manager and the Executive Team. The Executive Assistant will be required to work autonomously and is required to understand the expectations and responsibilities of the General Manger in order to effectively support the General Manager’s complex and demanding workload.

Our Executive Assistant provides a key leadership and mentoring role to the administration teams and contributes to the creation of a professional and innovative customer service culture across the across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

High level administrative and organisational support to the General Manager and Executive team.

Ability to undertake organisational projects and responding to reports.

Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels, including the production of presentations, submission requirements, formatting of reports and excellent letter writing skills.

What you bring

Demonstrated leadership experience in an administrative managerial/supervisory role to oversee administrative staff.

Demonstrated experience in providing high level executive support

Highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to build and retain positive working relationships

Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and manage projects for timely completion.

Demonstrated communication, organisational skills with an ability to accurately prepare and critically review any written documents, including experience taking meeting minutes.

Ability to work unsupervised, manage a complex workload and work proficiently in periods of high demand while exercising discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality at all times.
