As Maintenance Coordinator, you will coordinate with other departments using telecommunications devices in order to respond to requests and resolve maintenance issues and to put rooms needing maintenance our of order. You'll coordinate and schedule with other departments in the event of major system shut down or major repair or improvement as well as maintain purchase orders log and file purchase orders upon payment, ensuring that orders match packing slips.

**Some of your Key responsibilities will be**:

- **Safety, Security and Compliance**: adheres to safety guidelines, policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, legislation and codes, report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor, follow property procedures in emergency situations and other procedures to ensure clean, safe and secure environment.
- **Maintenance Planning**: Contributing to the development and implementation of comprehensive maintenance plans, such as coordinating with contractors and internal departments and assisting the chief engineer in creating maintenance schedules.
- **Contractor management**:work with existing local contractors to support our maintenance activities, maintain provided services records and keep contractor's profiles up to date, make sure contractors follow their agreed contract and process invoices.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance history, inspections and work completed, keep records of utility bills, keep the records of the department personnel.
- **Establish CMMS system**: Populate data into the CMMS system under the supervision of the Chief Engineer and other monitoring software.

**Required qualification and experience**:

- HSC Certificate or TAFE.
- Knowledge of office software's such as excel, word and outlook.
- Previous work experience in administrative jobs.
