We have been supporting our customers for the past 20 years from our main distribution centre in Perth and 3 strategically placed branches across the country.
AMS is proud of our reputation for efficient prompt service from extensive stock supplies and the ability to get products to customers on time.
**The Opportunity**
We have an opportunity for a **Technical Sales Representative in Exploration Drilling Products,** to join the Sales team at our **Singleton branch NSW**.
**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Support current customers with sales and product support
- Develop new customers through trials and sales
- Manage forecast of Inventory to ensure sufficient stocks are held in the branch warehouse
- As an independent warehouse, it is a requirement of the role to fill warehousing duties as required, including the fill and dispatch of orders
- Report regularly to management on all aspects of the role
- Periodical travel to customer sites as required to maintain relationships
- Manage costs where possible by sourcing alternative suppliers in sundry items
- Maintain customer contact both in their head offices and on site
- Assisting other sales team members as required for customer development and support across the AMS business
**Knowledge, skills, and experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded
- Experience in exploration drilling highly regarded
- Customer service focused - our customers and employees are very important to us
- Current drivers’ license
- Able to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Team player attitude: we all pitch in to help out wherever we can
- Positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Commitment to safety
- Excellent eye for detail

The role is supported by a competitive salary package along with sales commission. With hours being Monday to Thursday, from 7am to 5pm and Friday, 7am to 4pm.
Package includes as a tool of trade, a fully maintained company 4x4 vehicle.
