- Full-Time, Ongoing Opportunity for a Principal Advisor in Learning & Teaching-

- Based at the City campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University.About You

The Principal Advisor, Learning and Teaching is responsible for the leadership and management of the College team of Learning and Teaching Specialists. Working closely with the Associate Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Learning, Teaching and Quality, and collaboratively with the Senior Manager Learning Design and Development and Senior Manager, Quality Enhancement, they are responsible for the provision of strategic and academic leadership and management of the College Learning and Teaching area, consistent with University and College strategic plans and objectives. They are accountable for the provision of quality academic development leadership, advice and support to enable the delivery of high-quality academic programs and quality student experience.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:
Level C/D:

- Strong leadership skills and experience in initiating, leading and managing academic and professional teams and large-scale L&T projects in a collegiate environment to deliver strategic objectives-
- High level learning and teaching, quality and academic development expertise, and a commitment to learning and teaching improvement and innovation-
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication, collaborative and negotiating skills including the ability to liaise with senior executives-
- Demonstrated capacity to think strategically and to act tactically based on organisational priorities and objectives-
- Demonstrated understanding of academic management and good governance in a University context, including knowledge of tertiary regulatory and quality frameworks, including AQF, ASQA, and TEQSA.-
- PhD combined with knowledge and achievements that meet the academic criteria, for either Level D in providing original, innovative and distinguished contributions for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities relevant to their discipline at a national and international level or for Level C in demonstrating an emerging contribution for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities relevant to their discipline. nationally recognised research track record including substantial record of research outputs in high quality outlets.**Qualifications**:
