**THE CLIENT**
A well establish business who pride themselves on their exceptional service, quality, and expertise in the construction industry. They are known as the go to company to help you manage your entire building product supply chain with a comprehensive range of products for both concreters and general construction.

This is a business model very much based on customer service, pricing, and keeping it local - employing local staff and supporting the community. They support their clients in every stage of the project with advice and solutions that suit their project, budget, and schedule, building lifetime relationships.

**THE ROLE**
This role really is one of the most important roles in the company. It requires someone dedicated, with a trade or industry knowledge background who will own the role at hand.

You will be the first point of contact for all clients, albeit over the phone or face-to-face. The clients will rely on your knowledge, experience, and customer care to ensure their selection, project needs, and choices marry up with the direction of their plan

You will pride yourself on doing whatever it takes to get the correct product to your client when they need it, where they need it.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- You will work autonomously within the team on counter sales, where your opinion, and advice will be paramount to the client at hand.
- You will use your industry knowledge to build your network and leverage from this to upsell and service your network.
- Building relationships and maintaining existing ones to maximise your sales.
- Follow current procedures and ensure the database is always live.

**THE ESSENTIALS**
- Solid administrative, computer and customer service skills.
- Experience in the construction, building industry is preferred.
- You have a mature approach to your work, your communication is your forte.
- You have manual handling, warehouse experience.
- You have attention to detail as well as the ability to multitask.
- You also have extensive exposure to working to policy, procedure, and adhering to WHS awareness.
