**The Role**
Make a difference in our community

Lead and support a team of specialists in the delivery of Council’s legislative requirements in health and gender equity planning. This role influences improved health and equity outcomes in the local community and is responsible for Municipal Public Health & Wellbeing Plan and the Gender Equality Act 2020 (Gender Impact Assessments). Other key portfolios lead by this position include PVAW (Preventing Violence Against Women), LGBTIQ+ and community safety planning

**About you**
You are a strategic thinker, a positive, collaborative colleague, and empathic leader. You bring knowledge and expertise in staff supervision, equity, health and/or social planning. You are very organised and can juggle multiple priorities. You have great verbal and written communication skills and can build effective relationships across disciplines and community to deliver great outcomes.
