**The Opportunity**:
Donash Education Centre is expanding its services and looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Administration & Receptionist to provide high level customer service and support in administrative, centre operation tasks at the centre on a part time basis. The Centre supports multiple educational institutes - Tutors SA, STEM Centre Australia and MedPrep - with each institute offering a unique set of courses.

**We operate at two centres in Adelaide, Campbelltown Centre (SA 5074) and Mitcham Centre (SA 5062)**
The role will be based in our **Mitcham Centre,** located in Mitcham Girl School, Kingswood.

**Who We Are?**

Donash Education Centre supports multiple leading tuition institutes in South Australia, teaching and mentoring students from Reception - Year 12 (primary, middle, high, SACE/IB) students, and tertiary students. We have more than 700 enrolled seats, and more than 50 highly passionate, qualified and experienced teaching staff from various fields.

Tutors SA is specialised in providing highly successful small group and individual tuition following the Australian, SACE and IB Curriculum.

MedPrep offers UCAT courses targeting the UCAT exam preparation for entry into medical and dental degree programmes.

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for vibrant and outgoing applicants who possess a minimum of 1 year working experience in customer service/administration or related fields. University students with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be highly reliable and flexible and possess a pleasant personality with high standards of customer service in mind.

**Job description**:
2. Coordinate and liaise with tutors to ensure accurate student attendance updates.

4. Handling of any class cancellation/ replacement class request and assist to arrange relief tuition as and when required.

5. Printing, scanning and filing of documents and maintaining a tidy reception area.

6. Communicate messages to tutors at the Centre (about updates, policies, guidelines, parent/student queries etc.

7. Arming and disarming the Centre and ensure a welcoming environment.

8. Monitor stock level for books and stationeries.

9. Facilitate the initial assessment process for Reception - Year 10 students.

10. Maintain an up-to-date database of all the initial assessments performed at the centre and proper handling of the initial assessment papers to be marked by tutors. Marking of initial assessment papers for certain year levels.

**The applicant should possess the following skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated ability to handle face-to-face and phone enquiries, feedback and/or complaints
- Works well independently and as a team, and works comfortably with others with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to learn and follow new systems quickly and follow workplace procedures and systems effectively.
- Advanced level in MS Office, especially in MS Excel and Word
- Ability to organise, multitask, and prioritise
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Professional appearance and friendly and caring attitude
- Flexible

**Role and work hours**

**Mitcham Centre**:
8-12 hours a week.

Relief other receptionist shifts as required from time to time.

This document covers most of the expected tasks for the role. Any other related tasks may come up and assigned to the staff from time to time, in which the staff member will be informed in advance.

Part-time hours**:minimum 8 hours per week**

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
