Our client is a well-established business with more than 30 years of experience in the Building and Construction Materials Supply Industry in WA.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Human Resources Manager that will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety in the business.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will be supervising duties related to the life cycle process of the employees within the business, such as recruitment, onboarding process, resignation, and termination. In addition, you will be managing and reporting on all tasks related to OHS, such as incident/accident/hazard management, and be up to date with OHS legislation and compliance for the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to employee concerns and needs
- Keep up to date with National Employment Standards (NES) and all relevant industrial awards
- Manage all tasks related to human resources such as advertising, interviews, recruitment, inductions, staff training, and ending employment
- Manage, communicate, and advise the managers on employee performance reviews
- Review the invoices relating to recruitment and staff costs
- Manage pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings including medical
- Meet regularly with other members of the company to discuss progress and find new ways to develop careers
- Manage all tasks related to OHS regarding incidents/accidents/hazards, verifying the organisation is up to date with OHS legislation
- Manage Worker's Compensation claims with all stakeholders
- Utilise available resources to ensure company compliance is maintained
- Oversee internal training updates and progress done by the Training Coordinator
- Be one of the first points of contact and provide assistance for any IT-related issue
- Management reporting as required

**Experience**
- At least 5-years of proven abilities in a similar role

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Knowledge/qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety is a bonus
