The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

**The Opportunity**

We currently have a Fixed Term Full Time opportunity till 31/01/2024 for a Project Officer to join us in the Products & Solutions area of our Customer Strategy & Experience Branch. For this position we support flexible working arrangements and work in various locations across NSW.

If successful, you will manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of the Park&Ride systems across TfNSW locations to achieve program outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

**What you will be involved in,**
- Provide a range of project management and support services for the Park&Ride program, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources and suppliers, maintaining project documentation and preparing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in project managing/supporting complex or sensitive community projects, including the high-level ability to set clear goals and implement systems to ensure projects meet agreed objectives.
- Experience working in an operations support role is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in implementation and operations of car parking management or access control equipment or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in MS Project or similar.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
- A valid NSW Drivers Licence. The role requires travelling to various locations to oversee and manage the successful implementation and go-live of the Park&Ride system.
- Working flexibly outside of regular business hours when required is expected.

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 8 ($123,470 - $ 138,284) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
