**Team Leader - Intra fund Financial Advice**
**What can you expect?**
- Mercer Financial Advice provides simple advice through the phones and in the workplace, and strategic advice to those who have more comprehensive and ongoing financial needs. We service 7,000 private clients and Mercer’s corporate, industry and public sector client base, as well as the members of Mercer Super.
- Team Leaders are responsible for managing a team of financial advisers and support staff, ensuring that the team achieves its stated client, revenue and related objectives. Team Leaders play a vital role in the strategic development of the team, in growing the team through the coaching and mentoring of advisers in the acquisition of new clients and referral sources, promoting professionalism and the highest ethical standards in financial advice through their own actions and through the management of the team.

**We will count on you to**:
- Ensuring that each team member has clear goals and KPIs in place, including client and sales plans
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the team and allocating resources effectively and fairly
- Ensuring professional development plans are in place and in particular, for high performers to facilitate career progression at Mercer
- Consistently achieving Statement of Advice (SOA) turnaround time service standards, whilst ensuring SOAs are of the highest quality
- Promoting and maintaining a positive culture throughout the team by encouraging a collaborative approach and by fostering effective teamwork
- Coaching and mentoring team members to maximise performance, leverage skills and strengths and ensure appropriate resource management.
- Developing and overseeing new opportunities to grow the business with increased penetration of our client base, new referrals and a tighter sales management program across helpline, workplace and strategic financial advice.
- Strategic focus is important to win business, develop corporate clients and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of corporate and private clients.
- Achieving 100% adherence to Advice Standards and processes
- Ensuring SLAs are achieved via the team with trustees
- Trustee relationship management
- Tightly managing the requirements of our authorised representatives and representatives with zero tolerance for compliance breaches
- Minimum E&O outcomes
- Practice management of advisers through peer review, oversight of advice and attention to the manner in which they are managing clients and client outcomes.
- Proactively maintaining and enhancing the profile of Mercer Financial Advice internally within Mercer and externally within the industry to generate new business for the team and practice
**What you need to have**:
- Demonstrates excellent organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications
- Experienced Senior Financial Advisor looking to expand personal skills and leadership opportunities
- Strong management and leadership skills

- Multi-tasking
- Technically proficient in financial advice
