We are seeking a strategic and dynamic **Homecare / Long-term Care Channel Manager **to lead the clinical nursing team for **Abbott Nutrition **and ensure the business is across trends and opportunities within Homecare and Long-term care**.**
This role is based in** Macquarie Park** with the requirement of interstate travel.
**Your responsibilities include (and not limited to)**:
- Owning the strategic direction and influence of Homecare and Long-term care for Abbott Nutrition; lead for Homecare and Long-term care, ensuring the business is across trends, changes and opportunities
- Building a high performing, clinically competent nursing team
- Managing clinical nursing policies and procedures, in-line with best practice, industry standards and clinical governance
- Contributing to the growth and development of the Homecare and Long-term care channel plans and direction for Abbott Nutrition
- Establishing and building relationships with key decision makers for Homecare externally, in conjunction with the sales team members
- Clinical onboarding and assessment of new nursing team staff
**Who we’re looking for**:
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing with clinical and community nursing experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable
- Previous experience or exposure to a corporate environment is advantageous
- Understanding of State tender environment and community patients is advantageous
- Knowledge of the Hospital and Aged Care Nutrition industries, including community homecare
- Strategic mindset, able to overlay with patient requirements and centricity
- Ability to link data and insights and turn these into strategic opportunities
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with strong ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
- Travelling interstate is required
