**About the role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Platypus Ecommerce team as their Ecommerce Specialist. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of Platypus New Zealand ecommerce website. You will be involved in assisting the Platypus Ecommerce team to deliver the digital strategy and provide a superior ecommerce experience.
**Your key responsibilities will be**:
- Support the coordinator to ensure product enrichment is managed efficiently, with strong attention to detail and in a timely manner
- Online product merchandising and daily review of site to ensure all product content is current, accurate, relevant and aligned with digital merchandising and content strategy
- Collaborate and liaise with product team to understand product delivery dates and SOH across the retail network to manage online product enrichment processes and timelines
- Work with SEO teams to ensure products and content are optimised for search and adhere to SEO best practice
- Support marketing campaigns, product launches and retail activities with regular and relevant content updates
- Manage homepage banner and website content updates to align with digital marketing calendar
- Support Ecommerce Manager with pricing & promotions as required
- Content Marketing
- Implementation of digital and content marketing plan that delivers increased engagement and conversion rates.
- Project manage online campaigns and promotional activity, including briefing in required assets, building EDMs and managing key dates to ensure on time delivery
- Support the CRM team to grow the subscriber database through implementation of tactical acquisition campaigns
- Support retail network in updating store contact details on the websites and through Google Places
- Develop and implement relevant content and product landing pages to support marketing campaigns as required
- Analyse and report on ROI of campaign outcomes
- Acting as the ecommerce ambassador and supporting the customer service team to ensure all online customers are given an outstanding level of customer service experience
- Liaise and collaborate with various departments to ensure we are delivering best in class, seamless customer experience
- Drive online sales to help meet financial targets and profit budgets. Trading the Online business to hit financial targets.
- Monitor industry, online and mobile shopping trends, maintaining knowledge of competition and awareness of ecommerce opportunities
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner and reporting deadlines are met.
**To be successful you will have**:
- Demonstrated 2-3 years experience in similar ecommerce trade role
- Previous experience in Footwear, Retail or wholesale (Highly regarded)
- Marketing or Business degree/diploma (Preferred not required)
- Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (or similar)
- Highly organised with great communication skills
