**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a full time People and Culture Consultant who is passionate about enhancing the employee experience.

The People and Culture Consultant reports to the Manager, Human Resources and is part of a wider People and Culture team that is committed to building organisational capability to deliver better business outcomes for the Department. This is achieved through shaping a vibrant, connected ‘one enterprise’ culture and creating a positive employee experience to enable our people to reach their full potential and perform at their best within a safe and inclusive environment.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and sound interpersonal capacity, to effectively liaise with people from a variety of backgrounds and levels.
- Experience in interpreting and providing advice regarding employment legislation and industrial instruments.
- Experience in HRM administration and using HR information systems.
- Knowledge of human resources, employee relations, organisational development and learning and Work Health and Safety principles and practices, including emerging trends.
- Ability to analyse information, exercise initiative, coordinate minor projects and develop and implement appropriate and effective solutions.

**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary ($74,315 min - $77,901 max pa) plus superannuation

**Desirable Qualifications**:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline.

Temporary contract is available up to 29 December 2023.
