agencies to support individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in obtaining
stable accommodation, independence, and improved quality of life. We provide a range of services to
support them on this journey, including emergency relief and meals, health and mental health
services, drug and alcohol services, life skills training, as well as crisis and transitional housing.

**POSITION PROFILE**

The position will provide administrative support primarily to the Support Services Manager and
when required to other frontline service managers, including but not limited to scheduling, meeting
arrangements and minute taking, collation of information and checking of program data and reports.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Delivery of quality service provision
- High level administrative support and data entry
- Collating, quality checking and streamlining of reports.
- Contribute to service development and planning in homelessness and housing first principles.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**

**Administration**
- Providing generalized administrative support to Support Services Manager as

required including compliance with legislation, funding and agency guidelines
and organisation policy and procedures.
- Assistance with data collation, documentation, and preparation of reports to

ensure the program and organisation meets funding and reporting
requirements.
- Assistance with electronic and hardcopy filing in line with organisation policies,

including archiving and record keeping in line with privacy principles.
- Assistance with data entry including accuracy of data.
- Collation of credit card receipts and reconciliation support
- Scheduling of meetings - including liaising with external and internal

stakeholders

- Meeting creating agendas, minute taking and catering organisation.
- Scheduling of fleet vehicles and assistance with Car related issues - e.g.:
detailing, repairs, and insurance claims.

**COMPENTENCIES - CRITERIA**

1. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and
communicate effectively with service staff, service users, community agencies and other
professionals.

2. Excellent administration and data entry skills, including advanced skills in Office suite.
3. Demonstrated skills in report writing and other professional communications
4. Broad understanding of service delivery environment for people experiencing homelessness.
5. Broad understanding of issues affecting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community

particularly regarding transience and homelessness, cultural considerations, trauma, and
sensitivities.
