Thomas Hassall Anglican College is a vibrant P-12 independent College located with close

The College is seeking to employ an experienced educator and leader with a background in
and have an expert understanding of current pedagogical practices in learning and teaching as well
as being creative and innovative. She/he will be an active Christian who understands how to
staff towards the improvement and innovation of the faculty programs in Years 7-12.

**Key Selection Criteria**
the successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the
following criteria:

- Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based

Christian Church
- A well-informed understanding of contemporary learning and teaching practices,

research and pedagogy, including ongoing engagement in professional
associations.
- Evidence of leadership of educational innovation and development of curriculum

and assessment.
- A track record of success in building and leading effective teams within faculty/

stage departments. Demonstrated critical analysis and problem-solving skills,
experience and commitment to collaborative leadership within a team
environment.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the

delivery of learning.
- Demonstrated good team leadership skills: including approachability; listening

skills; conflict resolution; exercising sound judgement; and showing initiative.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks,

meet prescribed deadlines and concurrently manage a number of competing tasks.**Qualifications**:

- Appropriate teaching qualifications & accreditation in NSW (NESA)- Accreditation at Experienced Teacher (ISTAA) is an advantage

**Technology and Applied Sciences (TAS) Coordinator**

**Primary Purpose**:
The Technology and Applied Sciences (TAS) Coordinator will work with all staff to lead the
Strategic Plan related to improvement and innovation of the TAS Program of the Senior School
including: teaching and learning programs and communication with staff, parents and
students.

**Accountable to**:
The Principal through the Deputy Principal/Head of Senior School Learning.

**Directly reports to**:
Director of Teaching and Learning

**Relates to**:
1. Deputy Principal/Head of Senior School Student Development
2. Director of Teaching and Learning
3. Academic Dean of Students
4. Director of Operations
5. Director of Student Wellbeing
6. Faculty Coordinators

- TAS/Maintenance Assistant for TAS duties

**Major Responsibilities**
The TAS Coordinator is responsible to the Principal through the Deputy Principal/Head of
Senior School Learning for:

- The effective and efficient leadership, supervision, management and development of
- The implementation of an:

- appropriate induction program for new teachers in relation to their faculty;
- appropriate training program for staff in areas where they require - additional skills
