**Scope & Overall Purpose of the Job**:
This role is responsible for managing all aspects associated with handling Same Day jobs, including quotes, bookings, the end-to-end operational process, and customer updates. It’s critical to maintain a strong focus on service excellence and provide customers with a consistently positive experience. Additionally, this role involves building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate service excellence and drive growth.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Customer and Colleague Engagement**
- Always engage with customers and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
- Notify customers of any issues or delays as quickly as possible.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**
- Work closely with colleagues, drivers, suppliers, and other teams/departments to meet agreed delivery expectations and drive service excellence.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- **Operational Excellence**
- Embrace continuous improvement and maintain a focus on operational and service excellence to provide the customer with a consistently positive experience.
- Strictly adhere to policies, procedures, and guides (as amended).
- Assist with identifying, investigating, and remedying operational and service issues specific to the Same Day service offering.
- **Resource and Information Management**
- Assist with other duties as assigned and required.

**OH&S Responsibilities**:

- **Health and Safety Compliance**
- Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and guides (as amended).
- Ensure the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, customers, and visitors by identifying, escalating, and working with key stakeholders to eliminate or minimize the hazards/risks within your area/depot.
- Immediately report any safety-related incidents or hazards to a supervisor/manager.
- Stop any unsafe work immediately.

**Required Skills & Capabilities**:
Technical:

- Product and network knowledge
- Ability to build good working relationships with customers, peers, management, and drivers
- Intermediate computer and keyboard skills
- Strong service orientation

**Desirable Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experience in customer service

- HSC/VCE or equivalent (preferred)
