The Salvation Army (Salvos) Youth Services encompasses a range of programs for vulnerable young people, their families, and the community. Our services have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and enable access to safe accommodation options, Holistic case management, community outreach programs and programs that teach vital independent living skills. About the role

We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Case Manager to deliver flexible and assertive outreach case management to young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Reporting to the Youth Services Coordinator, this is a Max-Term (until September 2025), full-time position based in Sunshine, Victoria. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 5.

You will successfully- Develop individual case plans and include a range of interventions that address the needs or goals of young people.- Assist young people with a range of activities in preparing for independent living and help them access support services and establish community supports.- Complete comprehensive intake and risk assessment for all young people, incorporating adequate assessment of the needs of accompanying children where relevant- Provide support to young people navigating the continuing care system.

You will have- Tertiary qualification in social sciences, welfare or related field with a degree qualification preferred.- Relevant experience in a social service environment.- A current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
