**The role and team**
Our in-house Talent Acquisition team have built a strong brand internally as experts in sourcing top talent for our organisation. Since centralizing the function in 2019, we have transformed recruitment at Bendigo Bank, and we continue to invest in and develop our team on our journey to Australia’s bank of choice.
In doing so, we have created a brand new, permanent opportunity for an experienced Talent Sourcing Specialist to come on board. Reporting to the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition you will partner with Executives and Senior Leaders of all divisions of the bank to proactively source and nurture a talent community of executive and senior talent.
You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, who are geographically dispersed but virtually connected. With previous experience as a Sourcer, Researcher or Executive Recruiter you'll be the expert in all manner of sourcing channels. You'll be given autonomy and ownership to manage your own portfolio of stakeholders to ensure we have a network of executive talent in the pipeline for critical roles. You'll own the market mapping, headhunting, sourcing strategies, talent pools and recruitment experience for our executive and vital senior leadership roles.
This role will ideally be based in one of our main office locations: Melbourne, Adelaide, or Bendigo for at least two days per week that the team are in the office together, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work.
**About you**
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- A relevant degree level or qualification with a preference for HR or Business discipline is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated experience in an internal executive talent acquisition/ executive sourcing role, preferably gained in a commercial/complex environment
- Expert in sourcing via all channels and creating insightful market maps
- Confident in presenting to and influencing senior leaders through insights and data
- Proven ability to promote an authentic employee value proposition
- Ability to use data to inform, substantiate, make decisions, and translate into recruitment outcomes
- Experience recruiting in the banking and financial services industry will be highly regarded but is not essential
