**THE ROLE**

YMCA of South Australia is seeking a new Duty Manager to join the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre, on a permanent part-time basis at 25 hours per week.

As the Duty Manager, you will maintain a broad working knowledge of centre programs and services whilst providing active supervision and leadership to employees and patrons.

Key duties will include:

- Supervision and leadership of daily aquatic operations and facility programs
- Monitoring process compliance and creating a safe and positive environment for patrons and all employees
- Promoting and educating patrons around aquatic safety
- Maintaining a strong understanding of emergency procedures and have the ability to identify an emergency
- Providing excellent customer service, and effectively manage enquiries and requests
- Assist in general administration

YMCA South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that has served the South Australian community for more than 170 years. With around 800 staff (and growing), we deliver programs and services across the state in settings including community recreation centres, swimming pools, health and fitness facilities, community centres, camps, early education and schools and youth services.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- HLTAID001/009 CPR
- HLTAID003/011 Provide First Aid
- Pool Lifeguard Skill Set or Certificate
- Pool Operators Certificate
- Strong communication skills
