**About this role**
This role aims to improve health and service delivery access for Aboriginal people in NSW by supporting system development to deliver culturally safe and accessible health services for Aboriginal patients and clients.

**Where you'll be working**
The role of the Centre for Aboriginal Health is to support the health system to better engage and listen to the needs and aspirations of Aboriginal people so that their health and wellbeing is improved. Often this is about helping the system to better understand the social and cultural determinants of health, how past Government practices impact on people today and how Aboriginal peoples’ experience of education, housing, employment, racism and discrimination impact on access and utilisation of health services.
The vision of the Centre for Aboriginal Health is to work in partnership to build a strength based, culturally safe and responsive health system, where Aboriginal people have the same health outcomes as non-Aboriginal people.

**What you'll be doing**
- Collating and analysing data using Excel
- Liaising, consulting, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing high quality written advice in the form of reports, briefs, policy etc. to respond to internal and external requests to the Ministry of Health in a timely manner
- Research
- Working as part of a team
