**About the Role**

DTP captures health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) data across various systems across the organisation. The HSW team manages a key system that is used to record incidents, assurance activities and operational risk assessments that provide critical insights into the HSW performance of the organisation.

This role is responsible for managing the system design, configuration, maintenance, and improvement to ensure that the appropriate data is captured reliably while optimising user experience. This role is also responsible for implementing and maintaining data governance, reporting of the information from various sources and providing insights into HSW performance to inform DTP's HSW strategy and its key activities.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Manage the configuration and administration of HSW-owned systems to optimise user engagement and reliability of HSW data capture.
- Collaborate closely with the broader HSW Team and DTP business units to embed data capture practices through incident reporting and assurance activities to enhance data literacy.
- Create, visualise and communicate HSW data from multiple data sources by creating and maintaining interactive reporting dashboards through the configuration of reporting systems (e.g., PowerBI and Tableau).
- Identify, interpret, and analyse trends or patterns in complex data sets from multiple sources to detect emerging risks and inform key initiatives that drive HSW performance.
- Manage contracts with HSW’s system vendors to foster a partnership and high-quality service delivery, including troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders to negotiate positive outcomes while managing complex and competing priorities.

- Utilize accomplished data literacy to analyze data sets, derive predictive value, and establish data collection and analysis approaches. Engage stakeholders effectively, building partnerships and tailoring services to meet their needs.
- Coordinate project delivery, defining tasks, guiding execution, and monitoring progress.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Required**
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the use and configuration of data reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

**Desirable**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field
- Experience in the field of health and safety
- Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and development
- Ability and willingness to travel and work across locations within metropolitan and regional Victoria.
