About the role

We are seeking a dedicated AOD Care and Recovery Co-ordination Practitioner You will support and provide a range of interventions including case management to assist in improving health and wellbeing for individuals experiencing Alcohol and Other Drugs related harms.

Responsibilities include
- Evidence based interventions are delivered in line with client centred treatment that aligns with AOD training and qualifications
- Case management support provided to clients
- Individual treatment plans are developed in collaboration with clients
- Clients assisted to access support services and establish community supports
- Assistance with other AOD services regions (Mallee) may be asked by Team Leader when needed

This is a fixed-term part-time position, contracted until December 2024 (30.4 hours per week), based in Bendigo, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.

What you will have
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline
- Minimum qualification Diploma Community Services
- Relevant experience in Social Service environment
- AOD Skillset or obtained within the first 12 months of commencement
- Completion of Forensic Fundamentals or obtain within first 3 months of employment
- Family Violence foundational, information sharing scheme and brief/intermediate risk assessment training within the first 12 months
- A Current Victoria Driver's Licence
