- The role you could play

We are seeking an Alcohol and Other Drugs Practitioner

You will be responsible for the facilitation of the Therapeutic Day Rehabilitation (TDR) program utilising a combination of strategies including group work, one to one intervention and family support for individuals experiencing Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) related problems. This position sits within The Salvation Army (NVAODS), situated in Bendigo.

Duties
- Consultation of client intake occurs with the program Team Leader and Intake Coordinator
- Case management support is provided to clients and their families in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice
- Individual treatment plans are developed in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions
- Clients are assisted to access support services through advocacy with service providers that will assist client recovery
- Therapeutic group sessions are delivered in accordance with the client needs

This is a max-term (12 months) full-time position based in Bendigo Corps, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.
- Bachelor of Human Services, Master of Social Work
- Diploma in Health or Community Services
- AOD skill set or willing to obtain within 12 months
- Relevant experience in a social service environment
- A Current Victorian Drivers Licence
