**The role**

The Customer Care Representative will actively identify and respond to the varying needs and expectations of our customers and work across the multi-functional areas of debt management, customer assistance and working directly with vulnerable customers with the objective of ensuring a high level of customer service. Functions performed by the Customer Care Representative adhere to regulatory guidelines, industry standards and Gippsland Water policies and procedures.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in resolving a range of complex customer queries.
- Experience in negotiating successful outcomes for vulnerable customers and customers experiencing financial difficulties.
- Debt management experience for non-payment of accounts.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including strong computer literacy skills.
- A commitment to delivering the best customer and stakeholder experience.
