As a Lifestyle Assistant you will provide support to the Lifestyle Coordinator at mecwacare O’Mara House, a 67 - bed facility. You will assist in maintaining active and independent lives of our residents through the development and implementation of activity plans developed by the Lifestyle Coordinator.

**What you bring**:

- Certificate III in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) and/or relevant qualification at Certificate III level
- Previous experience in a similar role in residential aged care or community setting
- Ability to contribute to the assessment of each resident’s social and emotional needs and design appropriate, individual lifestyle programs to meet their needs
- An understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people
- Self-motivation with well-developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, delegate and attend to multiple tasks
- Well-developed communication skills
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
