Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic medical practitioners to join our team as a **General Medical Registrar (BPT3)** in the **Basic Physician Trainee** program** **for the 2024 Clinical Year (commencing **February 2024**).

**Details of Department**

The Central North West Consortium offers comprehensive support across all years of the PREP program with all rotations accredited by the RACP. We have a long tradition of providing excellent physician training to trainees within the consortium. A training program to support trainees preparing for the written and clinical RACP examinations has been implemented across all sites within the consortium. In-house written exam lectures are held September to January each year culminating with a 170 question mock written exam.

Successful applicants may rotate through a variety of general and speciality medical units at Austin Health and Bendigo Health to provide a broad range of experiences and learning opportunities.

Please note that a rural term is an expected component of all Central North West Consortium BPT3 contracts.

**To be successful in this role you must**:

- **Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a medical practitioner**:

- **Have a minimum of two years of training accredited with the RACP**
