General Medical Registrar (BPT3) in the
Basic Physician Trainee program
for the 2024 Clinical Year (commencing
February 2024).


Details of Department


The Central North West Consortium offers comprehensive support across all years of the PREP program with all rotations accredited by the RACP.

We have a long tradition of providing excellent physician training to trainees within the consortium.

A training program to support trainees preparing for the written and clinical RACP examinations has been implemented across all sites within the consortium.

In-house written exam lectures are held September to January each year culminating with a 170 question mock written exam.

Successful applicants may rotate through a variety of general and speciality medical units at Austin Health and Bendigo Health to provide a broad range of experiences and learning opportunities.

Please note that a rural term is an expected component of all Central North West Consortium BPT3 contracts.

To be successful in this role you must:


  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a medical practitioner:

Have a minimum of two years of training accredited with the RACP
