**About the Business Unit**

The Operations, Maintenance and Testing (OMT) team deliver and maintain systems associated with the government's fixed road safety camera program. The group manage the day-to-day operations of the Fixed Digital Safety Camera (FDRSC) network, including monitoring of the camera systems operational status, ensuring compliance of these systems with departmental standards, and management of camera contractors performing testing and maintenance.

Within the OMT work stream, the Camera Operations team consists of a number of Operations Officers, who are responsible for administering the operational processes associated with the access, maintenance and testing requirements of camera enforcement sites in the State. The team liaise with various contractors and stakeholders who supply, operate, maintain and test the equipment at camera sites.

**About the Role**

The Operations Officer is responsible for administering OMT (Operations, Maintenance and Testing) processes and activities carried out by different contractors responsible for maintaining and testing enforcement sites. The role includes authorising and coordinating contractor work at these sites, reviewing and assessing maintenance and testing reports, and utilising various OMT databases to track and monitor service delivery and team performance. The role requires liaising with various stakeholders, including operations and maintenance teams, contractors, and government representatives. Additionally, the role involves assisting with project work and operational activities as required.

**About you**
- Experience in an operationally transactional environment.
- Planning and/or scheduling experience with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Staff in this position will be required to undertake and complete internal training as directed.

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
