APS5 Internal Review Officer Required for a 12 - Month Assignment in Brisbane CBD

**Y**our new company**:
Hays has partnered with a large Federal Government Agency which is going through a period of significant growth. This is an opportunity to join the agency on an initial 12-month contract based in Brisbane CBD with hybrid working arrangements.

**Your new role**:
As the Internal Review Officer, you will be accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position as it assists in the triage and management of reviews. It is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and allocating work to other lower level team members within a team.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Working with participants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests, informing participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews and the appeals process.
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes and systems.
