- Maintenance Officer
Blacktown NSW

Affordable Recruitment Services are looking to employ experienced and reliable Maintenance Officers (Handypersons) to join our team, with work available in the Eastern Suburbs area.

About us:
We work to provide our Aged Care provider clients with suitably skilled and experienced staff to work on site completing a variety of tasks to ensure their premises are well maintained, presentable and any general repair work is completed.

Your role would include:
General (basic) repairs around site and preventative maintenance including plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, installing and repairing hardware
Day to day gardening, including mowing, weeding, leaf blowing, edging, plant care and other general grounds maintenance, as required
Maintaining a clean and tidy site and equipment
Identifying and reporting hazards and safety issues
About you:
Previous experience in a similar grounds or gardening position
Enjoy working outdoors
Ability to work harmoniously in a team
Great time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Knowledge of WHS requirements
National Criminal History Check (Police Check) which is less than 3 years old
Covid 19 Vaccinated
