Fortescue is currently seeking a Support Services Lead to offer guidance and direct supervision to the administrative team responsible for supporting the operations at the Chichester Hub. In this role, you'll be tasked with forecasting and planning initiatives, taking the lead on various projects, managing stakeholder engagement effectively, and ensuring comprehensive reporting. Your responsibilities will also encompass guiding teams towards achieving objectives and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide guidance and direct supervision to the administrative team
- Forecast and plan initiatives to support operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead various projects aimed at improving support services and operational processes
- Effectively manage stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with organisational goals
- Ensure comprehensive reporting on administrative activities and outcomes
- Guide team towards achieving objectives and key performance indicators
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance collaboration and support
- Continuously evaluate and improve administrative processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and implement strategies to address challenges and capitalise on opportunities in support service operations
- Plan rosters to accommodate capacity periods.
- Manage coverage for planned and unplanned leave, stepping in when necessary.
- Establish training plans for team members and develop and implement progression plans.
- Identify and address skill gaps among administrators.
- Conduct monthly meetings with department leaders to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and strengthen dotted line relationships.
- Facilitate onboarding for managers, superintendents, and shared-services members.
- Utilise central/universal systems and resources for reporting purposes.
- Centralise all resources and processes to promote interchangeable coverage and knowledge sharing.
- Generate internal reports on admin performance, including KPI/performance reports, training/compliance reports, and purchase reports.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management or Event Management desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience in providing guidance and direct supervision to administrative teams
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and plan initiatives to support operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Proficiency in ensuring comprehensive reporting on administrative activities and outcomes
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential matters with discretion and professionalism
- Highly developed interpersonal skills enabling positive and informative communication with stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in advanced features of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency in generating internal reports on admin performance, including KPI/performance reports, training/compliance reports, and purchase reports
