About the Role

Lead Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Advisory team in Perth. As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Utilize a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist them in monitoring performance.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery.
  • Recognize potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promote the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
  • Contribute to team training and mentoring, helping to grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in Business Services, with strong technical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar, with working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools, such as Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency status, or work rights in Australia.
