**About Transdev John Holland Buses**
- Transdev John Holland Buses is an integrated joint venture partnership between Transdev and John Holland, combining the know-how of the world’s leading mobility companies and one of Australia’s integrated infrastructure, transport and building companies. Operating out of three (3) depots we are tasked with providing 35 million customer journeys per year including for many of Sydney’s major events.- The** Communications & Stakeholder Advisor** provides specialist advice to all communications initiatives and activities arising from the strategic plan, operational plan and interactions with operational services and projects.

The role is pivotal to supporting communication activities through planning, stakeholder mapping, and content development.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:
**1.** **Contribute to the development of communications and engagement plans, including change management strategies and policies that align with the overall goals of TJHB.

**2.** **Support and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver communications plans and events calendar including a work-in-progress document.

**3.** **Develop and execute communications plans, stakeholder engagement strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness to the targeted audience.

**4.** **Develop communications materials and content for a range of internal and external channels including internal and social media, intranet, website, and public-facing activities.

**5.** **Collaborate with visual designers to develop visual collaterals.

**6.** **Develop leadership messages and responses for enquiries, presentations and speeches as required.

**7.** **Support the Social Media & Design Specialist to develop social media content, implement schedules and monitor daily activities on a range of social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

**8.** **Maintain and develop strong stakeholder engagement through meaningful engagement and feedback management with local councils, schools and different local communities.

**9.** **Build positive and enduring stakeholder relationships to strengthen the position and reputation of TJHB with the Customer.

**10.** **Develop and manage crisis communications where required to ensure accurate information across the business.

**11.** **Support the Customer Experience Team with the successful implementation and maintenance of customer engagement programs e.g. ‘Schools Safety Program’ and ‘Meet our Managers’

**12.** **Support Transdev Australasia’s Communication teams and other internal functions to deliver various initiatives as required.

**13.** **Maintain and update photographic library, contacts list and archive relevant communications.

**To be successfulul in this role, you will have**:

- Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) or certificate or relevant experience (disciplines relevant to function area, e.g. Public relations, communications; stakeholder management, marketing).
- Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to build and nurture productive working relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in successful planning and delivery of projects and ongoing management of key stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated experience preparing a range of communication materials (including both digital and offline).
- Demonstrated experience in event management.
- Proficient in Sharepoint, Wordpress, and Microsoft Office.
