**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Australian Steel Markets Sales Effectiveness Team as a **Sales Insights Analyst** with the option to be based in **Port Kembla, Mascot or Chullora locations in NSW**. We need to ensure we have the right mindsets, capabilities and skills to create and inspire smart solutions in steel to strengthen our communities for the future.

We are transforming our systems and enhancing the way we use our data and looking for a Sales Insights Analyst to join us. In this exciting role, you will analyse sales data to provide meaningful insights to support the sales team in its strategic decision-making as well as enable value-adding customer conversations. There is plenty of opportunity to shape this space as our expert in sales analysis and reporting.

**What Will You Do?**

Working collaboratively with our sales team, you will:

- play a key role in our digital transformation program as we aspire to data being a key strategic organisational asset
- optimise sales & financial performance through the generation of timely analytical data insights for business decision makers
- support the sales team through the efficient collection and analysis of data to enable more insightful customer conversations
- identify and deliver improved business processes associated with forecasting
- stay up to date with new technology and best practice

- highly developed analytical and reporting skills
- proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools especially in Excel, and report creation capability in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar
- an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage competing priorities
- effective communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- an inquisitive nature to learn our business and customers
