**What You'll be Doing**
The Principal Officer Audit and Investigations is responsible for assisting the Internal Audit Manager to perform complex and sensitive reviews, audits and investigations and provide independent and objective advice and information on control, risk and governance issues in order to contribute to the effective operation of the Local Health District.

**How to Apply**
- Current membership of the Australian Society of CPAs, the Institute of Chartered Accountants or the Institute of Internal Auditors and tertiary qualifications relevant to the audit function and/or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in investigations and ability to manage complex and varied investigations.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or proven experience in risk assessments and planning and conducting audits.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills that enable sound decision making and timely responses.
- High level interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, to interrogate, and to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with a range of internal and external clients and stakeholders;
- Demonstrated superior research and report writing skills.
- Experience in developing and conducting training sessions.
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
