**Let’s talk about the opportunity**

The Principal Officer, Education will design, manage and deliver the Commission’s external education and training initiatives, which form an important part of our statutory corruption prevention functions and strategic plan.

This is a new role that will lead a small team of specialists whose activities include face-to-face, virtual and digital education offerings.

The role is hands-on and you will work with a variety of NSW public sector agencies, local councils and universities wishing to improve their resistance to corrupt conduct.

This is a permanent full-time position. You will be paid a competitive annual salary of $154,828 - $168,460 (ICAC Officer Grade 7), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 11%) and annual leave loading.

A Talent Pool may be created for future permanent or temporary positions and is valid for a period for up to 18 months.

You will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with exceptional people skills that can manage a small team and communicate with a cross-section of colleagues, external organisations and public officials. You will know how to manage a multi-faceted education program and have experience at preventing corruption and promoting integrity.

**Who we are**

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was established in 1988 as an independent organisation to protect the public interest, prevent breaches of public trust and guide the conduct of public officials in the NSW public sector. We are committed to:

- Investigating and exposing corrupt conduct in the NSW public sector
- Preventing corruption through advice and assistance
- Educating the NSW community and public sector about corruption and its effects.

The Commission is based in the Sydney CBD and provides a variety of flexible working arrangements.

- Experience and competence managing an education program including a small team of specialists.
- Experience and competence designing and delivering integrity-related training, including face-to-face, videoconferencing, website and digital products.
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) with a variety of audiences and colleagues, using a variety of modalities (including online).
- Knowledge of corruption prevention and integrity principles in a public sector setting.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience developing online/digital education products.
