**The role**:
The Orthotics Department is seeking suitably qualified Orthotist interested working in a hospital setting, with exposure to diabetes and wound management, fracture management inclusive of spinal orthotic management, and neuromuscular rehabilitation. The position is primarily based at Northern Hospital, Epping with access to a newly built Orthotics workshop. You may be required to cover inpatient services on a Saturday afternoon or public holidays. Applicants need to provide a curriculum vitae and a cover letter that clearly outlines their relevant experience and key areas of interest.
**To be successful in this role your key accountabilities will be to**:
- Provide high quality evidenced base clinical care in the acute/sub-acute setting
- Demonstrate a client focus in the provision of care
- Manage a complex caseload with appropriate support and supervision
- Practice within relevant professional and ethical standards
- Demonstrate active participation with in a multi-disciplinary team
Northern Health sites include Northern Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Broadmeadows Hospital, Craigieburn Health Service and Kilmore District Hospital.
