**Grade 1 Dietitian - 1.0EFT (permanent)**

**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic dietitian to join the team at Northern Health.

The role will require expertise within subacute dietetics, and will work across a number of areas including general medical, surgical, GEM, rehab, wounds and outpatients. The role will be located at The Broadmeadows Hospital.

This position will work closely with the multidisciplinary team including medical staff, nursing staff, allied health clinicians and other relevant operational staff to deliver high quality dietetic services.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the area of adult nutrition (general medical, surgical, GEM, rehab, wounds and aged care)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills that facilitate an ability to work
- An ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and provide staff/ community education
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Competent computer skills particularly in word processing and Internet use, and the ability to learn dedicated software
- Understanding of the cultural diversity of the community
- Current Victorian Driver License
